Taipei National University of the Arts Cooperative Program

In 2010, Wego formed a partnership with Taipei National University of the Arts and developed a cooperative curriculum of arts, including music, art, theater, and dance. Students get the opportunity to attend classes at TNUA, exploring different fields of art.

Before choosing courses at TNUA, students attend lectures to gain prior knowledge. Led by the professors at TNUA, students learn about modern arts and how to incorporate art into their daily lives. Through the lively and well-planned courses of hearing, seeing, and moving, students' imagination and creativity are inspired, and their manners and personalities are cultivated at the same time. In addition, the art education at TNUA raises students' cultural awareness. For instance, in the music course, students are not only introduced to one of the traditional Taiwanese melodies—Beiguan, but also get the chance to play Gamelan, a traditional percussion instrument from Indonesia. In the dance class, students practice different dance styles from around the world. They also pay a visit to the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, learning how to appreciate modern artworks.

The goal of the TNUA program is not to make every student an artist, but to develop their creativity and enhance their art and cultural awareness.
